Onyx
The Tannat varietal is originally from the Madiran region in Southwest France and grown in front of the Tasting Room right where the sun sets over the Shenandoah Mountains. The grapes are typically harvested in late October. The wine is aged 18-30 months in French oak barrels and the results are a bold, intense fruit-forward cherry, with a chocolate mid-palate wine and moderate acidity.
Fun Fact: This wine is named after Momma Baki’s birthstone - a stone that exudes physical strength & stamina.
